Teaching and Learning Conference

We are delighted to announce that Alex Quigley will be the keynote speaker at our teaching and learning conference being held on Saturday 6 July.

Alex is a highly sought after educational consultant, blogger with a column in TES and Teach Secondary magazine and author of best-selling edu-books 'Closing the Gap' literacy trilogy and 'The Confident Teacher'.

With over 15 years experience in the classroom as an English teacher, he now spends the majority of his week working as Head of Content and Engagement at the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF), an educational charity, where he supports content development of EEF to ensure it meets the needs of school leaders and teachers. He also leads the EEF school engagement function, in listening to the profession, understanding their pressures, priorities and practices.


ON THE DAY:  Alex will de delivering throughout the day. Delegates will also be able to choose three workshops from a selection, all designed to meet the needs of educational professionals navigating the current challenges in our educational landscape. A variety of workshops will be available for both primary and secondary phases.

WHO IS THE EVENT FOR? Those working in the education sector.

TICKETS:  Are priced at £100. There is a small number of 'early bird' tickets at a reduced rate of £80, these will be given on a first come first served basis. This price includes lunch and refreshments.
